A member of the Optum Care network, WellMed Medical Group, is in search of a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join the Morgan Clinic in Corpus Christi, TX, offering per diem opportunities.

(Position Highlights)

  • Provide services akin to urgent care during extended hours on Saturdays, Sundays, and/or Monday evenings.
  • Focus on quality over quantity, typically attending to 14 to 16 patients per day with ample time allocated per visit (30 minutes).
  • Our providers are assessed and rewarded based on the quality of care they deliver, with bonuses paid semi-annually, prioritizing patient well-being over RVU or volume metrics.
  • Benefit from a robust clinical support team including RNs, LVNs, MAs, scribes, nurse educators, case managers, clinic administrators, referral managers, coders, centralized scheduling, nurse advice line, and advanced IT support.
  • Engage in collaboration with our primary care physicians (IM & FM), hospitalists, and a network of employed/contracted sub-specialists for comprehensive patient care.
