Network Operations Associate Manager

Accenture LLP seeks qualified individuals for the Network Operations Associate Manager role in New York, NY. Responsibilities for this position include:

• Overseeing Network Operations Projects: Manage new site launches, hardware installations, and assigned projects from client network and site managers.
• Supporting Network Architecture: Assist in implementation and migration tasks, collaborating closely with the network architecture team.
• Documentation Management: Update network diagrams and necessary documentation to reflect current infrastructure configurations.
• Facilitating Team Collaboration: Lead weekly meetings between Client Network Operations team and Accenture’s offshore team to ensure seamless coordination.
• Contractor Management: Supervise short-term project contractors, reviewing their deliverables, and approving time and expenses.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide team updates, trainings, and knowledge transfer sessions for continuous support improvement.
• Reporting: Generate monthly reports encompassing EOL device lists, network metrics, and vulnerability patch updates.
• Technical Support: Offer Level 2 and Level 3 support to clients, serving as a subject matter expert for Accenture’s Network team.
• Network Configuration and Design: Create, develop, and implement network configurations, topologies, and scripts as per client requirements.
• Business-Critical Support: Provide on-call Level 3 support for crucial events, issues, and incidents.

Location: New York, NY

This position involves managing various aspects of network operations while ensuring a high level of technical support and seamless collaboration between teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, accompanied by at least 5 years of progressive experience post-graduation in Network Operations.
• Proficiency of at least 5 years in each of the following areas:
• Application of IP Networking Fundamentals, including TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, TCP and UDP Protocols, Routing Protocols, Switching Technologies, and Wireless Network Standards.
• Design, troubleshooting, and configuration of Routing Protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP in complex network environments.
• Configuration and support of F5 BIG-IP Load balancers, encompassing LTM and GTM.
• Troubleshooting, designing, and configuring switching technologies such as VLANs, STP, HSRP, Port-channels, and Virtual Port-channels.
• Configuration and design of wireless network devices and components (Access Points, Wireless LAN controllers) in alignment with 802.11 wireless standards.
• Configuration and support of firewall vendors like Cisco ASAs, Palo Alto Firewalls, or Checkpoint Firewalls, including security protocols such as VPN, IPsec, IKE version 2, Access-lists, and NAT.
• Management and support of Cisco Nexus family switches, specifically 5K, 7K, and 9K models.

Flexibility and preparedness to travel domestically for approximately 50% of the time to fulfill client requirements.
