(Responsibilities)

• Adhere to The all standard operating procedures and company policies.
• Handle cash transactions following established procedures.
• Stay updated with corporate communications relevant to the assigned area.
• Assist in merchandising processes to enhance product presentation.
• Maintain and organize the assigned area according to guidelines.
• Implement and sustain Market Plan and merchandise directives.
• Support the execution of the company’s data integrity process.
• Provide exceptional customer service through direct interaction.
• Interact with and aid customers in their shopping experience.
• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise from trucks.
• Drive store sales, possibly participating in various Five Below services (e.g., ear piercing, balloon services, buy online pick up in store, etc.).
• Check in incoming shipments and prepare merchandise for display.
• Perform routine store maintenance tasks such as garbage disposal, sweeping, restroom cleaning, and stockroom maintenance.
• This job description isn’t exhaustive. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the General Manager based on store requirements.

(Physical Requirements)

• Stand for the entire shift.
• Operate the cash register frequently.
• Move merchandise, occasionally weighing up to 25 lbs, and place/remove items at heights of 5-10 feet.
• Ascend/descend ladders to manage stock retrieval.
• Kneel, bend, and stoop regularly, both in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers in person and over the phone.
• Move around the sales floor, assisting customers, and managing stockroom tasks.
